HP has a reputation for putting out printers that last over five years. We have some clients that have tried and true HP LaserJets like the 1300 and the 2605 that are printing even after 10 years. We had a customer call today with an Officejet that was less that a month old that was blinking like a Christmas Tree. The power and screen was blinking constantly and unresponsive even after holding down the button.
The solution was to unplug from the wall, computer and remove the ink cartridges for a few minutes. After that time, replace the cartridges, plug into the computer, wall outlet and press the power button. After looking up the Error Code (B84134B2), we noticed that this was happening quite often to other HP printer users in recent months. Some users opting to return and get another model.
