This is something we did not think that we would have needed for what we do. In some commercial buildings in Midtown we had to show business insurance just to work on the premises. Insurance is also need for low voltage jobs and workers comp. In one of my previous companies, we had to carry special insurance jut to be able to rent gear.
Here are some options:
- Hiscox: We came across them when we needed special insurance for a delicate installation
- The Hartford: We have seen this company at multiple businesses
- Berkshire Hathway has two Insurance companies that I have found: biBERK and Three
- Next Insurance: This company has come on our research a few times.
- Huckleberry: This looks like a quick and easy option for coverage. Will contact the next time we are up for coverage.
Tip: An insurance broker is quite an asset in this department. The can evaluate what you need and provide options that you may not be able to wind online.
